Booking / Payment Policy

When you book to stay at Dovecote, you acknowledge that you have read, and agree to the terms and conditions and booking policy below. Failure to adhere to these policies will result in penalty fees charged to the credit card on file. 

Please Note:

All reservation requests are subject to confirmation.

Booking for 8 guests maximum in The Headland and 4 guests maximum in The Range, strictly.

No party policy, strictly.

Children are of course welcome.

No pets.

No smoking.

The properties are not to be used for any commercial reasons unless written permission is given by our manager.  This includes but not limited to; brand and product photo/video shoots and self or brand promoting material of any kind.

No large items are to be delivered to Dovecote without first having written permission from concierge
No items are to be delivered to Dovecote before 3pm on your check in day. 


Minimum Stays:

The Headland: 2 nights

The Range: 2 nights

Tariff includes the Australia Goods and Services Tax of 10%


Payment Policy:

A deposit of 50% of the total is required to secure your reservation. The balance is due 14 days prior to your arrival.


Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation within 30 days of arrival date: 50% forfeit of the total booking price.

Cancellation within 14 days of arrival date: 100% forfeit of the total booking price.

For reservations between 15 December and 15 January: Cancellations made within 60 days of arrival incur a 50% cancellation fee for each night cancelled. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival incur a 100% cancellation fee for each night cancelled.

Dovecote reserves the right to cancel any bookings outside of 30 days of the arrival date. A full refund will be paid on the day of cancellation.

Additional Charges:

In the event that the accommodation or facilities are left in an unsatisfactory condition an additional cleaning fee will be charged to the credit card on file.
In the event that linen and towels are damaged, the total cost of replacement will be charged to the credit card on file.
In the event that the property or its contents are damaged a fee to cover the replacement of items will be charged to the credit card on file.

We have restricted access to certain areas of our website. We may in the future need to restrict access to parts (or all) of our website and reserve full rights to do so. If, at any point, we provide you with a username and password for you to access restricted areas of our website, you must ensure that both your username and password are kept confidential.

We also reserve the right to disable your user account at our sole discretion without explanation.

The website and the information and services on the website are provided free-of-charge, we will not be liable for any loss or damage due to the use of the information or products sold from this website.

In the event that any exclusion or other provision contained in these Terms be held to be invalid for any reason and we become liable for loss or damage that could otherwise have been limited, such liability shall be limited to $10

Dovecote does not warrant that functions available on the website will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that the server that makes the website available is free of viruses and / or bugs. You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to implement sufficient procedures and virus checks (including anti-virus and other security checks) to satisfy your particular requirements.



Without prejudice to our other rights under this terms of use, if you fail to abide by these terms of use when using our website, we will take all necessary measures to ensure our protection including, but not limited to, informing relevant third parties such as your employer, school or internet provider about the infringement(s). We will also inform law enforcement on any serious violation.

Dovecote may change these terms from time to time and so you should check these terms regularly. Your continued use of our website will be deemed acceptance of the updated or amended terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should cease using our website immediately.

If any of these terms are determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of New South Wales and Australia, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction in which that term is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and the remaining terms shall survive and continue to be binding and enforceable.

This terms of use, together with our privacy policy, make the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your use of our website.


Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and all use of our Site is governed by the laws of New South Wales and Australia and any questions arising shall be dealt with only by the New South Wales and Australian courts.

Privacy Policy

Dovecote regards the issue of protecting your privacy online very seriously. We carefully protect your Personal Information (PI) from loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Your personal information is never shared outside the company without your permission, except under the conditions explained below. Inside the company, data is stored in password-controlled cloud based servers with limited access.


Use of Cookies

To ensure we are publishing content customers need and want, Dovecote collects aggregated site-visitation statistics using cookies. We do not track individuals’ use of the site.

When someone visits the site, a cookie is placed on the customer’s machine (if the customer accepts cookies) or is read if the customer has visited the site previously.

We use this technology to compile aggregated statistics about Dovecote’s website usage. We do not share tracking information outside of Dovecote.

If you choose to not have your browser accept cookies from the Dovecote website, you will be able to view the text on the screens, however you will not experience a personalized visit nor will you be able to subscribe to the service offerings on the site.

To finalise your reservation;

To establish and maintain business records;

To manage your stay at the Dovecote;

To manage guests’ history;

To secure and improve your use of Dovecote’s website, including:
